Medium: Kiln formed sheet glass

Size: 5 x 7 x 12”

A plaster/silica mold of a hand held sheet glass up in the kiln, and the slump was filmed/videoed. When the firing was complete the plaster/silica was dissolved away, leaving behind the barest outline of a hand, and glass that draped like fabric, supported only by itself.
