Medium: Kiln cast glass, fabricated kiln furniture

This piece was made through collection and curation. Collected wax from a different mold’s steamout was cast in plaster/silica, then set up with designed failure points in a kiln to instigate overflow. Safety measures were put in place in the kiln to avoid damage. This piece explores materiality and flow, with minimal artist intervention.
